Update

On April 10th we were informed by Public Health of 3 residents that tested positive for COVID-19, these residents are on isolation and staff are required to use PPE. We have worked with Public Health to identify the staff members that were in contact with these residents, these staff are on isolation and have been tested. All other residents were tested and are negative, we have no additional resident cases and to date no staff cases of COVID-19. We are continuing to assist Public Heath with their ongoing investigation. The source of transmission is still unknown.

Staff are required to wear a mask while in the building, monitor their health for any symptoms of COVID-19, we also take staff temperatures daily at the beginning of each shift.

These are challenging times and want to ensure to you that our number one priority is our residents and staff. We have a dedicated team and they are doing an incredible job caring for the residents. We are trying to keep residents and families connected by using FaceTime and reading emails. We are open to suggestions on other ways to keep everyone connected, please let us know your ideas.

I will try to update this page on a regular basis, when I have information to report.

If you have any questions please phone the administration office, 902-794-4733.
