Update May 4th, 2020

We are happy to report that our 3 residents who tested positive for COVID-19 have recovered. We currently have no positive cases with both staff and residents.

We are now into May and the Guest Home has been closed to families since the middle of March. We recognize how difficult this is for everyone but we are now heading in the right direction. We see the number of positive cases declining in Nova Scotia and particularly the Eastern zone.

We have made the decision not to accept gifts or flowers on Mother's day this year, this decision was made with much difficulty but what we have in place is working. We want to keep your loved ones safe and we hope you understand. We will make Mother's day very special, our recreation staff have plans for that day.

We are continuing to work with Department of Health and Wellness and Public Health, they are our support system through this pandemic. We continue to monitor residents and staff for any new symptoms and we continue to be diligent in cleaning throughout the facility.

We have a dedicated and experienced team working at the Guest Home and the care of the residents is first and foremost.

If you have any questions please phone the administration office, 902-794-4733
